If these aren't either Atlas I or Atlas II or Capella drives then I'd dump
them before they dump you :) I've heard bad things about Viking drives and
I know bad things about all models of Fireball drives. Capella drives are
good, but discontinued last I knew. Atlas I drives with firmware revision
L915 are good, and Atlas II drives work well as long as you know their
limitations. Actually, the Fireball drives can be made to work OK, but only
if you choke down the driver to a level that won't exceed what the Fireball
drives can handle.

When you decide you are ready to try this again, let me know and we'll get
it working.
