Hi,
I am trying to run the Red Had Update Agent, and no matter what I do all I keep getting is a message saying:
"Problem registering username"
I have tried using my account info that I use on <http://www.redhat.com/>www.redhat.com and I have also tried registering for a new account, but it just keeps doing the same thing.
Anyone have any ideas?
Yes. Red Hat's SSL certificates expired and you might be having a problem with your software using the older certificates.
Go to http://rhn.redhat.com and download the updated versions of "up2date" and "up2date-gnome". Install them both with a single "rpm -Uvh up2date*" command. See if that solves your problem.
