For me, I really like the control I have by setting up my own apt repository for our addon packages as well as those not at freshrpms. That and the ability to DL rpms once and install them on different machines at different times. I can also simply not promote a problematic upgrade until I know it works. We are not a great big shop but with 5 linux boxes in the office and 48 in the field that are not accessible it gets unwieldy if something get hosed. I am probably just a control freak, what can I say? apt-get install xine is pretty cool FWIW there is a gui client synaptic so some such thing I forget. apt-cache search string is way cool too for locating packages.
