On mine (RH9) I just hit the "print screen" key and a dialog pops up asking where to save the image (this is provided by the gnome-panel package and it looks like the keybinding is to /usr/bin/gnome-panel-screenshot). Using "alt + printscreen" also works to grab individual windows.
GIMP also has a facility for grabbing screenshots. I am sure there are plenty of others. -Steve > -----Original Message----- > From: Gerhard Magnus [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Monday, September 29, 2003 9:48 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: screen snapshots > > > What's the best way to take a screen snapshot of a gnome desktop?
