Unless your looking to serve files from the linux box none of that would be
necessary.
Just set up your DHCP server and set the winblows client to DHCP and start
surfing the web.

Subject: Domain Controller in Linux

Hi All,

I know this is something silly, but it will help me clear my confusion
that I have about DNS and Domain Controllers thanks to Windows
Networking Styles.

My doubt is how do I go about connecting the Windows clients to my Linux
Internet server which will have NAT/IP MAS .Is is that i have to give
all my Windows clients static IP addresses and keep them in a common
workgroup?Or can I have them log into a Domain which will be a Linux
server?if thats possible?How can i do that?

Your inputs will be really appreciated.
Thanks in Advance

Cancerix
