I'm trying to install RH9 in a Pentium 166 with a 6gb HD and its being snotty heh.
I copied the bootdisk.img onto a floopy using rawrite and booted it up on my computer.
It takes me to the intro screen and I go into the installation process (I have the
CD's but it
wont boot from the CD for install) After loading the first couple of files I get a Bad
EIP Value
error message and <0> Kernel Panic: Attempt to terminate init!

I looked up on some other lists about what may cause this and tried some solutions
there
(e.g. removing network card, sound card, making hardware barebones) and still no help.

Anyone have any ideas on this..if I can provide more information about this, let me
know
what also. This is my first install going this route so I may be missing something but
I dont
think so.

Thanks in advance.
