I was jist going thru the Redhat Howtos for a building a caching name server on my LAN which has 50 nodes connected to the Internet thru a Linux Box, in the howtos they have mentioned about making a file /var/named/root.hints and which has the lists of all the root servers,my directory already has a file named.ca with those details?Is it the same or I have to build one more file for the caching name server to work?Pls get me out of this confusion.
