When you convert a file from CMYK to RGB using the mogrify command, the results are unacceptable. The color is mapped incorrectly, resulting in either very saturated colors or dark muddy colors. But the same command run on my RedHat 9.0 machine gives me darn near perfectly results. Obviously something is configured differently. I have determined that ImageMagick is calling GhostScript to make this transform, and that ghostscript has to be set up a certain way to make the transform correctly.
I was wondering if anyone on the list knows enough about Imagemagick/GhostScript to explain this?
Thanks in advance,
Joe
