Sep 19 17:42:38 whis modprobe: modprobe: Can't open dependencies file /lib/modules/2.4.18-27.8.0/modules.dep (No such file or directory)
and there is indeed no such directory. In lib/modules i have:
2.4.18-14smp 2.4.20-20.8 2.4.20-20.8smp
but i have no clue how to correct this.

those entries are no longer in the exportfs file ... and havent been for a quite a while.
