Hi all,
I am very much a newbie to Linux so this has
probably been asked many times.
I have just installed Redhat ES on my IBM Netfinity
550 machine. All seemed to install OK and everything seems to work except the CD
drive
At the moment it mounts the CD the machine hangs.
Even the eject button on the CD does not work. I have to power the machine off
with the power button.
There is an entry in the /dev directory as
follows:-
cdrom -> /dev/hda
All hard drive partitions point to /dev/sda
Has anyone out there in Linux land installed on a
Netfinity box and/or had a similar problem.
Cheers
