Didier, please don't take this to be a scathing criticism, but... rather
than creating a 12-line perl script to make simple edits, why not take a
few minutes to expand your own knowledge (obviously, you're a smart guy)
and find a reasonable solution using vi, as the OP was inquiring?

The answer to his question is basic VI syntax.  There's no reason to
reinvent this wheel with a mac truck.  :)

What's next?  A 1000-line perl program to take the place of cdrecord?
