I think the GLIBC is the answer...look: [EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# rpm -qa | grep glibc glibc-devel-2.3.2-11.9 glibc-common-2.3.2-11.9 glibc-kernheaders-2.4-8.10 glibc-2.3.2-57 [EMAIL PROTECTED] root]#
Some time ago, I was installing opengroupware on RedHat 8 and needed an updated GLIBC. I manually downloaded & installed glibc-2.3.2-57.i386.rpm. This was when the problems started. -Devon -----Original Message----- From: Michael Schwendt [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, September 09, 2003 1:41 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Segmentation fault -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 On Tue, 9 Sep 2003 11:23:41 -0400, Devon Harding - GTHLA wrote: > This happens when I run certain programs like 'wget', 'rpm' > 'Segmentation fault' If this happens on an unmodified installation of Red Hat Linux, it could be an indication of bad RAM modules. Or maybe you applied the glibc erratum manually and installed a package for the wrong processor architecture?
