I installed the foo2zjs tarball last night (the drivers which create a JetStream protocol for laser printers such as the Minolta QMS 2300DL), however, according to the instructions after doing a make install I should be able to just pop open the printconf-gui and select the newly installed driver. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, didn't work like that for me.

I noticed it tried to install allot of files in the "/usr/share/foomatic" directory which dosen't exist. So I created it, but later found the foomatic directory under the /usr/share/printconf/foomatic. I also noticed the foo2zjs driver has all ".zml" files while the only type of file found under foomatic are ".foo".

Has any installed foo2zjs on a RHL 7.1?

thanks in advance :-/
