Hello Cosmo, > I've moved my hard drives from the built-in IDE controller to a PCI IDE > card. What do I change to indicate to the OS to boot from the new > partitions?
I assume you updated /etc/fstab, and installed your boot loader on the new partitions. The rest is a matter of telling your BIOS to boot from the drive you want it to boot from. You might also need disk= and bios= options in /etc/lilo.conf (not sure how this works for grub) to point the boot loader to the correct partition.
