Dear Earl:

I have found that sometimes the package name that you see by doing rpm
-qa is different from the .rpm file. You should delete the package by
looking at the the name as you get from rpm -qa.

Regards.

Subject: problem using rpm -e

I installed a program using rpm. It's not running properly, so now want
to remove it. When I execute rpm -e filename, I get the error message
'filename not installed'. How do I uninstall?

Earl
