Try updating the nForce2 drivers via the ASUS website. They have a linux version of the nForce2 drivers available in the download section.

I am having a whale of a time with stability on this motherboard. Has anyone had any success?
I am running rh73 and have tried all sorts of kernels in the 2.4.20 and 2.4.21 variety. I have not tried turning acpi off nor have I patched the kernel patch to get agpgart working. Maybe I'm answering my own question: I am using the agp nvidia fx500 with heavy 3d applications.
