Hi,
I just installed redhat 9 on my primary harddrive
and because I already installed windows 98SE so I install on the other
partition. I create a boot disk to boot to redhat and I think nothing wrong with
my redhat.
Actually I'm new in Linux so everything is
confusing me.
I have several question.
1. GNOME and KDE which one that you choose for
graphical interface? What is the strengh and weakness each?
2. I believe that RH 9 coming with 4.21 Kernel, and
if I want to upgrade the kernel how can I do that?
I mean the steps that I should
follow. I have read several note from the internet but seems like it does not
meet
my system.
3. If I want to remove KOffice and Open Office
1.0.2 so I can install Open Office 1.1 RC3, how can I do that?
4. Which folder content that safe to remove, such
as temporary file.?
5. I would like to read my FAT32 C drive, how can I
do that?
6. How can I know the space that consume in
RH9?
Regards,
Gunawan
