Do you want the good news or bad news first ? ;o)
hmmm....

The bad news:   There's no way to get this support with
Redhat linux out of the box today.

The good news:   Within the last few months the vendor 
open sourced a 3D driver for all savage chipsets[1].   
These are being worked on by the XFree guys now.   I see 
there's one report[2] of someone getting them working
with XFree4.2.  But you'll have to do a fair bit to
reproduce his results.

If you're feeling adventurous you can try to sort through
compiling your own version of XFree but that isn't for the
faint of heart.   Otherwise you'll have to wait with the
rest of us for the gurus to make it accessible enough for
everyday use.

If you absolutely must see Tux scooting down the hill 
today you could demo a commercial X server from Xig[3]
(80 to 120 bucks) although trying to figure out which
product of theirs to buy is a mind bender in itself.
