Perhaps if you read more closely you'd realize that i was not
saying that it _should_ use the library.  There are applications
that bypass glibc and thus do not use nsswitch.   Perhaps you 
should reread the thread again.

Welcome to an imperfict world.  Perhaps you should consider
your own argument about bandwidth more closely.   And hey look
someone posted a bunch of useful information _without_ any
additional info from the original poster.   Guess more info
wasn't as necessary as you imagined.
