Qt apps work under Linux, MS Windows and Mac OS X. The cross-language support isn't the absolute best however. The most interesting new IDE environment on Linux is IBM Eclipse, check it out at www.eclipse.org. I'm pretty sure it is being packaged with the new redhat OS releases.
