You need to delete the old kernels from /boot. You can also delete them from /usr/src. 1) Look at the grub.conf file in /etc. The directory is in /boot (you can go there) also. The symbolic link to the file is in /etc. Determine which kernels you want to delete. Delete them from grub.conf and from /boot. Remember to look at the default pointer and update it to the new default in grub.conf. You can also go to /usr/src and delete the old kernel directories.
