Well I sincerely hope YOUR idea of Linux dies and dies quickly.  Linux is
about free speech and not free beer.

There is no reason why all software on Linux should or must be free.

If you are willing to pay for Windows and Windows applications then why
not pay for Linux applications if those application are
1. Good quality
2. Reasonably priced

I see no reason to pay for applications if there is a free alternative
that will do the job just as well, but if there isn't, then I don't mind
paying a reasonable fee.

We should be ENCOURAGING the development of good quality commercial
software on Linux!
