I don't recall asking anybody to _do_it_for_me_. What I asked for was
documentation. I said I was a novice at acpi as it applies to linux, but
I assure you, I'm NOT a novice with computers. I have 25 years experience
in every level of this industry, and have been working some with linux for
the last couple of years.

I believe WHOLEHEARTEDLY that Linux is a superior operating system, and
use it exclusively in my home network. I have not, however, gotten acpi
working on my Dell laptop, and that is one of the things I'd like to get
working. However, when asking a question about the location of
documentation elicits an elitist response from RHCE's, it reminds me that
we sadly have a little ways to go yet. If the goal of the linux community
is to only cater to the geeks, then we are already there. If we want to
take over the Microsoft world, though, we had better learn to answer
questions from novices.
