A user, (who will no longer get root privileges) has totally messed up glibc, and the system no longer boots. All that he mentioned was something about libcommon and libc (glibc?). I can boot RedHat 9 into rescue mode from the CD-ROM. Since the hard drive is mounted to /mnt/sysimage, installing RPMs is difficult.
