Hi, I have installed a RH9 box on a Dual XEON 3Ghz, with 1GB of memory and two 36GB RAID 1 SCSI hard drive.
The kernel is 2.4.20-19.9smp I have a big problem. I have today only one local sendmail running, and mrtg. Afer one week, I have a little message on the console: (CRON) error (can't fork) (CRON) error (can't fork) I watched with SAR what happened ... and I saw that there was not enough memory !!!! If I do a TOP, or PS, all processes are eating in total something like 1% of memory .... Very strange. Anyone had this problem ? Do I need to compile a new kernel ? -- Cedric -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
