Hi Justin,

   There is nothing to worry about here.  This failure is just the
secure shell asking if the user is allowed to log in without a 
password.   It's a bit unfortunate that this logging happens.
>From looking at the internals it could almost be called a bug.  
Syslogd is also in _serious_ need of a modern replacement.  
Personally I disable these warnings although this means the log
entries for successful login/logout are also suppressed.
