ftp connection process, kind'a:

this is active

[client]port 43123 -- [server]port 21 --- can I connect?

[client]port 43123 -- [server]port 21 --- sure

[client]port 2032 -- [server]port 20 -- transfer files

 

this is passive:

[client]port 2053 -- [server] port 21 -- can I connect?

[client]port 2053 -- [server] port 21 -- sure

[client]port 2153 -- [server] port 3526 -- transfer file
