The only problem I've had with the Thinkpads is trying to hot swap out the
CD/DVD burner with a floppy device.  Works great in Wintendo but no go with
Linux.  Oh and I've used RedHat 7.2 - RedHat 9.0 on several Thinkpads
including the T22 and T23.

It's come in handy a number of times.  Still didn't see anything on hot swap
for Linux.  Bummer.
