Hi all,

I found that most of my bandwdth are consumed by some users of LAN who love to
download software, games, mp3 etc from internet. If 4 people start to download
some big files then all my bandwidth are consumed by them and the browsing
speed for others like dialup users become too slow to tolerate.

I don't want to allocate my bandwidth to my LAN and dialup users differently.
Because during evening there won't be any bandwidth consumtion from my lan but
will be very high in day time. They (lan and dialup) may all together use all the
bandwidth available but I want to make downloading the software from LAN the
least preferance. Is it possible either via squid or via any software tools? Or is
there
any other better solution for me? Please suggest.

With Regards
Nabin Limbu
