One of the things SuSE supplies is a tool called YAST which (among lots more) gives one a way to select packages for installation or removal.
I am looking for the equivalent utility in RedHat. The closest I can find is "Add/Remove Applications" (/usr/bin/redhat-config-packages) but this appears to only be aware of a subset of the packages available on the CDs. During the installation there seemed to be a wider selection of choices.
