Hi, I have Compex EN2000 (NE2000 clone) on PCI sitting at 0xd400. Having put that info in /etc/conf.modules, Linux RedHat 4.2 (2.0.32 updated) recognizes it and starts as loading eth0... NE*000 driver ..... ...... loading eth1... Why does it have to go to eth1 when I have only 1 network card installed and correctly mentioned in the conf.modules files (and no eth1 option mentioned at the LILO prompt) ?
