I put this line

\root, [EMAIL PROTECTED]

in /root/.forward and now it's perfect! A mail is sent to me and a copy saved in the doot account.

No, it's simply used to forward email.  If you need to save a copy *and*
forward, you'll want to use procmail.  Check out the recipe here:
