You can try one of the following: convert (command line). eg: $> convert myfile.png myfile.jpg Kview is the KDE package that can save as other format (eg. jpeg) from png format. You can also use Gimp, but it may not be necessary to load that big graphic program just to convert file format. Hope that helps RDB -- Reuben D.
