Support for most things related to MPEG weren't included in RH8 or 9 for legal reasons, check redhat.com. You can still install this support after you get everything installed, check out freshrpms.net. I can currently watch/listen 99% of the video and audio formats out there with mplayer or gstreamer using the rpm's from that site, as well as a few found elsewhere... (Google helps to find them) To my knowledge, RH does have a framebuffer driver... in XFree86. Don't know why you'd need it unless you have problems finding a driver for you video card, as the performance drops when using framebuffer. (At least it's been that way when I use it) If you're talking about something else though, please be more specific. :) -- Ricky Boone <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Planetfurry.com -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
