On my machine, the win95 telnet client doesn't have a working maximize button.  Instead, I have to grab the corner and stretch it for those darn scrollbars to disappear.  I think you might also have to fiddle with keyboard settings to get the arrow keys to send correctly.

How Microsoft could include such a terrible telnet client with anything they sell is beyond me.  I couldn't find a good one that wasn't $ or bloatware.  I found one on one of those sites called "console telnet," however, which is pretty much a DOS-ish app that runs in a DOS window.  It's a tad slow on my old 486, but it seems to get the job done as closely to "real" telnet's style as possible.  Good luck!

Go to windows95.com and find a better telnet client.  Doing anything
serious with the built-in one will only cause frustration.

Use chgrp to add the programs you want priviladges to.
