Sorry if this answer has already been posted I lost to beginning of this thread. I am not sure what your price range is. If not free I have had a lot of success with F5's BIG-IP (You can pick one/two up on e-bay fairly cheap). They also make a 3DNS that make it easy to load balance data centers.
