Yeah it's possible. First make sure you have the correct drivers on your Linux box. My feeling is that you're having some problems with your Samba configuration if it tells you "retry in 15 seconds" over a network. Check your /etc/samba/smb.conf and make sure it's correct. Issue the command "testparm" and see if you have no errors! If you can't solve your problem, post your problem on www.cups.org general newsgroups.
