Obviously this question is probably best asked on the Evolution mailing list, but I know a lot people on this list use Evolution. I use Evolution for all of my mailing list subscriptions and for the most part I really like it. Right now I'm running 1.0.8-11, which I know is a bit old.
One thing that really annoys me is the Copy/Cut/Paste functions. It seems that you can only copy and paste when you are in certain fields and at certain times. If I open a message for reading I can't copy the text out of that message to paste into another one, unless I hit reply or forward. Same with the Subject line. I can't copy/cut out of that at all. Is this common for Evolution? Are the newer versions the same way? If I were to upgrade my RPMs running on Redhat 8.0, where is the best place to get the Evolution ones?
