I get this on a Tyan mobo with RH 8/9 but not with 7.3. I get this message on a Asus mobo with 7.3 but not with 9. Very weird. I've searched google all over and the kernel developers themselves don't why either. Some say to try "noapic|noacpi|nodma|" boot options - which didn't help me.
