Hi,

I've just installed Redhat 9.0 on a Intel 875 pbz motherboard with a
2.8c processor and it does install the SMP kernel as default. I have
encountered no problems other than the machine does not power off
completely at shutdown.I tried both Mandrake 9.1 and Suse 8.2 on this
setup and neither would install ( although this is probably down to my
inexperience ) ,Redhat 9.0 installed first time and all the hardware was
configured correctly as far as I can tell, not sure about on board
network as mine is a stand alone machine,or the serial ATA, but the USB
ports works fine plus my geforce 4 and SBLive card. As for the
performance it absolutely flies, well worth the money!
