Perhaps if you could be more specific . . . No problem here. Are you
referring to roaming users sending mail through the server?

I can give you the steps to effect SASL authentication - it's actually
quite simpler than I thought (and I'm no techie).

SendMail is impossible (at least for me) to manage. When I converted
over to Linux, the guy who runs DShield told me to avoid qmail which he
was then currently using. 

We are process management consultants (not IT) and we have recommended
Postfix to several clients who have found it to be a vast improvement
over anything that they were using. The UCE controls are exceptional and
it is very light on resources.
