What do you mean? Plug n Play (whatever that is) always works for me in Linux. For me installing recent Redhat (7.x up) is so easy now because it alwasy recognize all the hardware and configure it correctly, in one boot. Compare that with Win98 when you have to reboot everytime the OS found a new hardware, or install a new driver... what a pain. Eg, I just plug in a new sound card, run Kudzu, and all is well.
