I don't know anything about the Developer edition, but I can speak to the
paid versions since I have several of them.

First, if you just want updates to Advanced Server you don't have to buy the
$1500/yr Standard Subscription.  There is a $799/yr Base Subscription that
allows you to get the updates.  You don't have any support after the initial
install, but you are able to login to up2date and get all the updates.  That
will save you quite a bit of money.

Second, RedHat doesn't necessarily monitor how many servers you put AS on.
But, based on how many subscriptions you have purchased, you are only
allowed that many AS servers to connect to up2date to get updates at one
time.  Email me off list if you want a hint on how to handle this.
