However, the caveat is that you need the new j2 1.4.2 which also requires the gcc 3.2.2. I had downloaded the j2sdk_nb. I loaded it under java so my link in /usr/local/mozilla/plugins links to /usr/java/j2sdk_nb/j2sdk1.4.2/jre/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so
It does seem to work fine. It would be nice if they could just make a cleaner install. Love or hate windows and explorer, if I go to a site that needs a plugin, I just click the link, download, and install and I am going. I don't have to do any fiddling around. I still have not gotten realplayer to work. So I can't get music sites to play.
