Mozilla 1.4 only works with JDK/JRE 1.4.2 (compiled with gcc-3.2). You can read it at the Release Note. I installed from source using the net installer as root, but I haven't been able to make it multiuser for other user to use. Only root can run it. Very weird. They (mozilla.org) do all kind of weird stuff with that release about permision and stuff. I've been following the instruction but still doesn't work, so installed another instance one for my username... need to get some work done... RDB -- Reuben D.
