The raidtools RPM that's installed is version 0.90-24, which I'm assuming is the latest since up2date doesn't mention it. As for all the other updates, I'd have to say I've only done a few, not all. Due to some software I'm running (Ensim 3.1.x), there are a few RPM's that I fear messing with. Which RPM's would be related to this? > A side note about performance: If you switch hdd and hdc the array > might be a bit faster (assuming you get it to work again ;) . The hardware isn't setup to allow me to do that. Trust me, I've tried. ;) Performance isn't really an issue. It'd definately be faster if I would have separated the partitions up into different arrays, but I'm not going to mess with that until I upgrade to SATA. > What happens if you run raidstart /dev/md1 by hand? That's what I thought. Just making sure, though. :) > Not sure, but I would think it's not a problem, since you are running > on a live file system, so there are probably open files. Maybe if you'ld > remount / ro the file system is reported as clean. I've tried forcing an fsck on reboot, and (to my knowledge) it didn't report any errors.
