Dear all,

I am new to LDAP application and I want to use LDAP to build up a
public addressbook. After reading "OpenLDAP 2.1 Administrator's Guide"
and some documents ( e.g. http://cs.selu.edu/~jholland/ldap.html ,
http://people.redhat.com/alikins/ldap/netscape_address_config.html ,
etc. ), I can build up a public addressbook successfully on RedHat 7.0.
However, I fail to setup access control to restrict who can read this
LDAP database, i.e. the the access control is open to everyone. Hence,
if someone has the experience on this topic, please give me some hints,
documents, or websites to go on.

        Thanks in advance.
