I am trying to compile "bbconf" (Black-Box Configuration Tool) from its
sources on a RH8 system of mine. While executing the "configure" script,
I am getting the following message:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1 (20021021)) (library
qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation! For more details about
this problem, llok at the end of config.log. Make sure that you have
compiled Qt with thread support.

The command "rpm -qa | fgrep 'qt'" answers back:

qt-3.0.5-17
qt-devel-3.0.5-17

What I understand is that "bbconf" requests a newer version of "qt" than
the one that I have installed. Where can I find this newest / latest
version of "qt"?

I do not want to upgrade the entire box to RH9 (too early for such a
major headache, as, IMHO, RH9 is not ready yet...).

TIA,
