Hello to everyone,

I am a new user of Linux and I found out that I can
make many things out from this machine to our LAN/WAN
network. But one thing I cannot make is activating
TFTP server on XINETD. I already made it on INETD from
RH6.2, But since I am using RH9 with XINETD content, I
can't activate that (TFTP) daemon.
Is there anyone out there happen to activate the TFTP
daemon on XINETD?
Please help...

Thanks,

Jonathan

Easiest, understandable way:

Go into the /etc/xinetd.d folder

find the service you want.

open with text editor

change 'disable' to no.

Ed.
