I was trying to find out more info on xinetd itself so I could learn how to turn on and off daemons and services. For instance, I would like to setup a rsync server, but noticed that it is under the control of xinetd. But, I am not very familiar with xinetd to know what exactly I need to do so I can customize xinetd and its process.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, or give me some guidance, I would very much appreciated it.
